We have won the President's Distinguished Club recognition, earning nine out of ten Distinguished Club Program points. This is an extremely rare feat for a club that was chartered in the latter half of a program year, at least in Japan. This was made possible because everybody in the club worked hard to hone their skills in public speaking. A bit further explanation about the Distinguished Club Program. This is like a health check of a Toastmasters club and is composed of four main categories, Education, Membership, Training, and Administration. Education is the most important and accounts for six out of ten. We had six members complete Level 1 of Pathways, Toastmasters' education program. We had four members complete Level 2, two members completing Level 3, and three members completing Level 4. In addition, we had two members contributing their combined three education awards to other clubs they belong to as dual members.
In Membership, we welcomed seven new members after chartering, and in Training, we had six club officers attend the Club Officer Training. In Administration, we submitted the dues payment and the list of the club officers in time.
