The first solely-online meeting in six months
With the last solely-online meeting on June 16, this was the first online meeting in six months. This was new to some members who joined us after we resumed our "hybrid" meeting in July.
Some members exhibited their leadership. The Master of Ceremonies, or Toastmaster of the Day as called in Toastmasters, made the last-minute adjustments when one of the functionaries had to cancel his attendance, and another member was flexible enough to fill in for him. Another member took on two different functionary roles, Topicsmaster and Vote Counter, and did a wonderful job on both.
During the meeting, we enjoyed listening to three speeches by relatively new members. In the Table Topics session, where we practice impromptu speeches, the Topicsmaster prepared some questions related to Christmas and holidays. The evaluation session went well with to-the-point evaluation speeches and in-depth reports from functionaries and General Evaluator, who took the role for the first time. Well done!
We had two first-time guests and one of them tried her first Table Topics speech. Congratulations!!
