✨An Auspicious and Educational Evening! 

Our last online meeting was one of the most auspicious and educational ones ever!

We held an induction ceremony to welcome Toshi aboard. Congratulations🎉Another induction ceremony awaits next time. Nothing is more gratifying than welcoming new members to share wonderful moments together!

Then came a special session: a Speechcraft Workshop led by our Vice President Education, Mariko, based on The Better Speaker Series. Her topic: “Selecting Your Topics.”

Finding the right topic for a speech can give anyone a headache, right? Tonight’s workshop was truly an eye-opener!We learned that topics are everywhere in our interests, careers, families, education, and daily experiences. They’re right under our noses if we keep our eyes and ears open.

And the next step? Jot those ideas down before they vanish into thin air!

Mariko also reminded us of the golden rule for crafting a strong speech:・A catchy opening・An interesting body・A clear conclusion

After that, we had three breakout groups working on short Table Topics–style speeches under the theme “What makes you shine?” Everyone enjoyed brainstorming and sharing stories from their own experiences.
