New Members Taking on New Challenges

One of the highlights of our June 16 meeting was seeing members step out of their comfort zones and take on new roles.
So, who decided to join our club after attending his second meeting, made his role debut as the Ah-Counter. Despite it being his first time, he listened carefully throughout the meeting and diligently tracked filler words and speech habits. It was great to see him actively contributing to the meeting so soon after becoming a member.
At our next meeting at KOKOPLAZA, we will officially welcome So during his Induction Ceremony. He will also deliver his Ice Breaker speech, giving us an opportunity to learn more about him and his experiences. We are all looking forward to it.
Another highlight was Toshi's debut as Toastmaster of the Day. Since joining our club last November, he has consistently participated in meetings and taken on various roles. On June 16, he successfully led the entire meeting for the first time. His calm demeanor, smooth transitions, and confident facilitation helped create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for everyone.
These role debuts are a wonderful reminder that Toastmasters is a place where members can continuously challenge themselves, develop new skills, and grow together.
Watching members take on new challenges and grow in confidence is one of the most rewarding aspects of Toastmasters. Our June 16 meeting showcased exactly that spirit. We look forward to celebrating So's Induction Ceremony and Ice Breaker speech at our next meeting and to witnessing many more milestones from both So and Toshi in the months ahead.
